Corrine always took amazing care of my dog, Gizmo. She also was so flexible with my ever changing schedule. She showed Gizmo all the love and care any good owner would give their own dog. After being with Corrine for the day he came home happy and tired and each morning he was excited to see her. If you need a dog walker don’t hesitate to call Corrine.
Corrine took on our dog, Mophie, a 7-yr-old rescue dachshund-chihuahua, who has some remaining triggers despite years of behavioural rehab. Moe is very fearful towards men and strangers in general. He has a high prey drive and will chase nearly anything that travels faster than a speed-walker. He’s also adorable which makes him irresistible to strangers wanting to pet him (which he hates).
Corrine eagerly took on our little man and worked to gain his trust. She was able to learn his triggers and either avoid or manage them with some tools and tips from us.
Moe developed a loving — nearly obsessive — relationship with Corrine’s father (who sometimes helps her with walks). He doted on our dramatic diva whenever they were together, which made her Instagram photos that much more entertaining, i.e.: Moe being carried by Dad in the snow. *eyeroll*
I would recommend Corrine for any dog who needs that little extra TLC. She provided care that was individualized to our dog’s special needs, which allowed us to further socialize him with new people and dogs.
She’s reliable and flexible. We were sad to move out of her catchment area, but plan on requesting dog sitting services in the future (especially so Moe can spend some time with Dad.) Highly recommended. Happy to provide individual references.
My favourite part of Corrine walking Sam is that she sends me pictures during the day. I love getting updates when I'm work and knowing where you guys went and with who, which makes me miss him less when I have to work all day.
I can tell Corrine cares a lot of about Sam, she won't take him out if the weather is too hot, or you'll take him to the lake where its cooler. She always has his best interest in mind. I would also say that she's very flexible, if I need her last minute or need her to to make an extra stop she is always so accommodating and I really appreciate that!
We have come to depend on Corrine to walk and pet sit for us. She is responsive, responsible, hard-working, and most importantly, loved by our dog. She provides updates and photos of Tabby through Instagram and e-mail, putting us at ease when we are far, far away from our pet. We would highly recommend her services to other fur parents!
In the past, Tabby has had the misfortune of spending a few afternoons with a punishment-based dog walker, and it was extremely detrimental to an anxiety-prone, shy dog like Tabby. She was absolutely terrified of him, and it took months for her to overcome the trauma of staying with a Cesar Milan wannabe. With Corrine, Tabby looks happy, content, secure, and right at home. We definitely feel like we made the right decision.
We love receiving pictures and updates of Tabby enjoying her stay with you, regardless if it is just a walk, or staying over for a few days/weeks. It puts us at ease and brightens our day. Secondly, we appreciate that you come and pick her up for walks, which is incredibly convenient and hassle-free. Last, but not least, Tabby is really fond of you. It's hard for us to be away from her for too long, so it definitely makes us feel less guilty when she's clearly enjoying herself!
When I was looking for a walker for Morty I was nervous about trusting someone in my home and with my furbaby. When I met Corrine I knew almost instantly that she would care for Morty as much as I do and I had nothing to worry about. I am thrilled to say I trusted my instinct. Morty is excited every day to see her friend Corrine and I know she is in very good hands.
I love that with Corrine I don’t have to worry about Morty while I am at work. I know I can come home without worrying about TTC delays and Morty will be safe, happy and tuckered out from her walk.
Corrine is a trustworthy dog lover who puts her pack’s needs above her own. She provides daily updates for all nervous dog-parents who hate being away from their pups. Corrine and Lead the Wag are always looking out for me and Morty.
We love our dog, in truth, she is more like our baby, and so we wanted someone to love her like we do. Corrine was amazing with Penny from the moment they met. It only took an instant for us to know Corrine was the perfect fit for us, but most importantly Penny. You really open your lives to your dog walker, your pup, keys to your home, and even your home for some overnights... We trust Corrine implicitly, and can't imagine not having her!
I love getting emails and text messages and videos. Whether Corrine has taken penny for an hour or just a week, I get full updates, pictures and even Instagram posts!!
I have recommended Corrine to EVERYONE. From my best friends, to neighbours to colleagues.
We have one indoor cat (Freddie), one outdoor cat (Ty) that comes in for breakfast/dinner and a senior dog (who is still full of pep & doesn't really know his limitations...he also decides some days that he doesn't really like the cats) We didn't know if we were asking too much for one person to manage that. Instead, Corrine got to know each one of our pets! She wrote down note on all three and managed all their quirks like a pro. I could tell by the questions she asked she was both thoughtful & thorough.
We really liked the Frisbee & kitties diary. That update at the end of the day letting us know how things were going - or asking follow up questions was such a big thing to help put our mind to ease. It was apparent the love & care they were getting. It was so much easier to relax knowing our pet family was in such good hands.
If you are looking for a pet sitter or dog walker, you should seriously email Corrine! Tell her I sent you. Seriously though not only is she reliable & conscientious, but it's easy to see what an animal lover she is. And the pets LOVED her (I don't even think they missed us! LOL And that speaks volumes to me).
My wife was very nervous about hiring a "stranger" to take care of our fur babies. I make a point of (trying to) trust my gut when I meet people. And when I met Corrine I knew she was the one. She had everything we were looking for - bonded & insured, reasonable prices & she even knows pet CPR - but watching her interact with Frisbee was what did it for me. I could see how much she loved animals. Her thoroughness & updates helped ease my wife's mind and what made it all worth it for us what that we didn't have to worry about our pets while we were away.
Pepper was immediately comfortable with Corrine when we met. He's a friendly dog, in general, but I can tell when he likes someone. For me, him being comfortable is very important. If he doesn't trust someone he won't warm up to them.
I would recommend Corrine. I would say that she's reliable, professional, and has a good way with dogs. Also, she was able to take good pictures of Pepper - something I find is hard to do. Although he likes to play dress up, he doesn't like to have his picture taken. Most shots he looks away or leaves the room!
I haven't used too many dog sitters before and I immediately felt comfortable with Corrine looking after Pepper.
When I first started looking around casually and asking people for walkers, there were only flakes. As in, there would be initial contact and enthusiasm and then all of a sudden, they stopped answering. Very unreliable and just plain unusual! So my fear was that it would happen again but thankfully, Corrine was prompt with communication, punctual for us meeting, and super organized!
My favorite part of him being walked by Corrine is my peace of mind! I was crazy stressed out at work each day before having Corrine. Now I am confident he is taken care of, getting exercise, and enjoying the sunshine, instead of sitting inside every day miserable which would just break my heart.
I definitely would (and have!) recommend due to her being so caring and responsible, and ensuring that my dog's needs are met each time. The updates and photos that are sent to me after every walk to let me know how the day went are a clear indication that Corrine enjoys her time with each pet. And lastly, she is very accommodating to my schedule since it isn't the same each week which I know isn't easy. Again, my peace of mind is so worth it, I highly recommend!
Corrine is kind, considerate, capable, intelligent and a very positive individual. We were able to leave for our vacation knowing full well that both Lucie & Smitty would be well cared for....which of course they were. As a matter of fact we are so happy that we have booked you to pet sit for us when we go on our next vacation! We have recommended you to friends and family and will most definitely continue to do so!
It was a great experience having Corrine look after Happy. The week before we dropped off Happy, Corrine came up to meet him with her new puppy. With both dogs well acquainted, I knew Happy would have a wonderful time with his new friend under Corrine's care. Throughout my vacation, Corrine kept me up to date with Happy's status which was really thoughtful. She even brought Happy to a cottage over the weekend. So in a way, Happy had his own vacation too! I would highly recommend any dog owners to let Corrine take care of their buddies. She will love and take care of your pet as much as you.
